Spain-based tech media outlet Clipset has selected three companies—TOFF MOBILITY, WAVUS, and PYUNGHWA GROUP—as the TOP 3 innovative companies at the “BEST OF FIX 2026 GLOBAL MEDIA AWARDS.”
Held at EXCO in Daegu from October 21 to 24, “FIX 2026 (Future Innovation Tech Expo)” was an event that showcased technologies and products from advanced industries, including future mobility, robotics, and AI·ICT, all in one place. The Global Media Awards are significant in that overseas media outlets examine innovative technologies and products at the exhibition and select companies that stand out from each media outlet’s perspective.
Clipset is a Spain-based tech media outlet covering smartphones, consumer electronics, digital devices, and new technologies. It is known for content that examines products and technologies from the perspective of actual users and explains complex technologies in an easy-to-understand way.
Clipset, which has been introducing global technology trends and the practical value of new products, also explored Korea’s future mobility and advanced industrial technologies at FIX 2026. After covering the event, Juan Castromil, senior editor, praised advances in mobility and control technologies, stating, “Today, we witnessed the technologies of the future in advance.” This highlights the potential for technological development supporting future industries, ranging from electric aircraft operations to integrated UAM platforms and key components for robotics and mobility.
The three companies selected by Clipset for “BEST OF FIX 2026, Selected by Global Media” span different fields: electric aircraft operations and maintenance, geospatial AI and integrated Urban Air Mobility (UAM) platforms, and functional materials and components based on automotive parts technology. The three companies demonstrate various ways in which technology is being applied in real industrial environments, from new service models for future mobility to the digital platforms and hardware technologies that make them possible.

TOFF MOBILITY Builds an Integrated Solution Covering Everything from Electric Aircraft Operations to Maintenance
TOFF MOBILITY is a future aviation mobility company that encompasses the introduction and distribution of eco-friendly electric aircraft, demonstration flights, maintenance, and flight data management. Rather than simply supplying electric aircraft, the company is developing its business by establishing the maintenance and operational systems required for actual flights, enabling electric aircraft to become a sustainable means of transportation.
One of the company’s key services is “EV Air Care,” an electric aircraft operations and maintenance platform. It focuses on improving the efficiency and safety of aircraft operations by managing maintenance histories, battery conditions, and flight data generated during electric aircraft operations. In addition, through its integrated future aviation platform services, the company is developing technologies to collect, analyze, and manage data accumulated during flight operations, including battery efficiency, environmental variables, and maintenance intervals.
Electric aircraft have the potential to reduce noise and carbon emissions during flight compared to aircraft powered by internal combustion engines. However, to be used as an actual means of transportation, various operational foundations are required beyond aircraft supply alone, including certification compliance, maintenance systems, charging infrastructure, and flight data management. TOFF MOBILITY is pursuing the demonstration and commercialization of eco-friendly aviation mobility through a business model that integrates these elements.
The company plans to accumulate operational experience through tourism and experience flights, as well as training flights, and to expand its business into regional and island air transportation and the future aviation mobility market over the long term. In that it connects everything from the introduction of electric aircraft to the services required for actual operations, the company has attracted attention as one establishing the foundation for a new aviation mobility ecosystem.

WAVUS Supports Integrated UAM Management with Geospatial AI and 3D Digital Twins
WAVUS is a company that develops platforms combining geospatial information, artificial intelligence (AI), and digital twin technologies. Going beyond simply visualizing maps and geographic information data, the company is expanding its technologies into various fields, including geospatial analysis using AI and urban and transportation management based on three-dimensional virtual environments.
WAVUS’s geospatial AI solution, “GeOnAI,” is a conversational AI agent that generates customized maps based on natural language queries and supports geospatial analysis and preliminary diagnosis of permit and licensing requirements. It is designed to allow users to request the information they need in natural language and review the analysis results, rather than directly operating the functions of complex geospatial information systems. This technology can lower the barriers to accessing professional geospatial information and improve how data is used in public services, urban planning, and industrial settings.
Another key solution, “GeOnAirX,” is an integrated Urban Air Mobility (UAM) platform based on 3D digital twin technology. It represents real-world terrain and buildings in three-dimensional space and uses this data to support vertiport site analysis, flight route design, and flight track management. Simulations incorporating weather factors, flight corridor design, and warnings and alternative route guidance for emergency situations are important functions for establishing a safe and efficient air traffic system in complex urban environments.
For UAM to develop into a future means of transportation, digital infrastructure is needed to comprehensively manage not only the technology of the aircraft themselves, but also flight routes, takeoff and landing facilities, surrounding terrain, and flight operations. WAVUS demonstrates the potential for connecting future mobility and smart cities by providing this foundation through the integration of geospatial AI and digital twin technologies.

PYUNGHWA GROUP Expands Automotive Parts Technology and Material Design Capabilities into Future Industries
PYUNGHWA GROUP is a group of companies specializing in automotive parts that has manufactured automotive vibration isolation systems, hoses, rubber materials, and related components. Based on accumulated material design and component manufacturing technologies, the group supplies products to the automotive and general industrial machinery sectors, with its key capabilities including technologies that reduce vibration and noise and improve component durability and reliability.
Automotive vibration isolation components play a role in reducing the transmission of vibrations generated by engines, powertrains, and vehicle bodies to the vehicle and its occupants. Hose systems stably transport various fluids, including fuel and coolant, while various rubber materials and structural designs help components withstand operating conditions such as temperature, pressure, and repeated movement. These technologies are key elements that support vehicle ride comfort, durability, and safety.
Based on its material and design capabilities accumulated in the existing automotive parts sector, PYUNGHWA GROUP is expanding the potential applications of its technologies into new industrial fields, including future mobility and robotics. Materials introducing the exhibition candidates presented a direction for expansion into functional materials and components that can be used for contact and shock absorption in humanoid and quadruped robots.
For robots to work in the same spaces as people or move through irregular environments, not only precise control but also mechanical elements that absorb shocks and vibrations and improve stability during contact are important. Material technologies and experience in durability design accumulated in the automotive parts industry can be applied to these challenges. PYUNGHWA GROUP is noteworthy in that it connects its existing manufacturing capabilities with new demands in the fields of future mobility and robotics.

Electric Aviation, Geospatial AI, and Functional Components… Highlighting the Expansion Potential of Future Mobility
The TOP 3 companies selected by Clipset span three fields: electric aircraft operation services, geospatial AI and integrated UAM platforms, and functional materials and components based on automotive parts. TOFF MOBILITY presents service and data management systems for the actual operation of eco-friendly aircraft, WAVUS provides digital infrastructure to support future air transportation, and PYUNGHWA GROUP presents materials and component technologies that support the physical performance of mobility and robots.
Although the three companies operate in different business areas, they share a common feature: establishing the foundations for applying technologies in actual operating environments. Electric aircraft cannot be commercialized through aircraft alone; maintenance, charging, and operational systems are also required. UAM likewise requires digital systems that manage flight routes, airspace, and takeoff and landing facilities, in addition to the aircraft themselves. The advancement of robotics and future mobility must be supported not only by software and control technologies but also by component and material technologies that ensure stability and durability.
This selection demonstrates the need to examine future mobility not only in terms of individual products or aircraft performance, but also by considering the services, digital infrastructure, and key components that make actual operations possible. For new means of transportation to become established in the market and intelligent systems to spread across industrial sites, operational efficiency, safety, and the potential for integration with existing industries are as important as technological innovation.
